Challenge.

Celebrating 60 years of BAUHAUS, the campaign "Because it's important, we're planting 1 million trees" was created. This significant campaign was developed by the agency DDB and brought to the production company Markenfilm. Recognizing that a mere TV commercial spot would not be enough to garner sufficient attention for the anniversary, Markenfilm brought us on board as the Social Media Unit to create and shoot separate stories tailored for the most important social media platforms. For us, it was an exciting and fun challenge to meet the expectations with just two people and a Croatian/ Slovenian crew, within three days and nights in Croatia.

Idee.

As a Social Media Unit, we were able to seamlessly attach ourselves to the concept of the TV commercial and develop separate stories and additional outputs, such as suitable cinemagraphs and wiggles, which were trending on social media and would perform very well. The special feature here was that we conceived the social media assets directly in portrait format and later implemented them in this way. There was no room for widescreen, only a social-first approach.

Output.

From the project, a wide variety of content was created: IG Stories, IG Feed posts, Cinemagraphs, Wiggle 4x5, Wiggle 9x16, Facebook Feed content – a total of 29 videos were produced. This diversity not only catered to the different formats and preferences across social media platforms but also allowed for a rich and engaging user experience, keeping the campaign fresh and interesting across multiple touchpoints.
