Challenge.

"It takes two." Under this guiding principle, we, as the Social Media Unit, had the honor of working hand in hand with the TVC crew from Tempomedia, and under the direction of Jan Wentz, on the new Europe-wide eHybrid campaign for the Volkswagen Group, orchestrated by the specially founded agency Scholz & Friends Lukas Lindemann. A five-day production, numerous assets, and a tight schedule—let's go!

Idee.

In addition to the TV commercial, side stories with the same cast were to be told—stories that, while not explicitly featured in the TVC, should give the impression of being an integral part of the main narrative. The groundwork for this was laid by Scholz & Friends Lukas Lindemann, and this is where we came into play. It was crucial that the films were compelling enough to catch the attention of the smartphone generation and to spark interest for more. Among other things, the benefits of an eHybrid were to be communicated in a way that was both brief and charming, yet functional.
